Founder and Managing Partner, Reece Tomlinson is the driving force behind RWT Growth’s exceptional achievements. He is an entrepreneur, a leader, a mentor, and successful strategic thinker.

Reece’s vision and approach has shaped RWT Growth into a firm consultants want to work for and clients want to work with. Reece enjoys many outdoor activities including rock climbing, snowboarding, hiking and running. When he’s not outside he is often reading a book or spending time with his family. His greatest passion, however, remains in helping others and advancing businesses and products that can help humanity.

Reece started his first company at 17 and has since gone on to become an award winning serial entrepreneur and leader. He has lead companies to the Profit 500 list of Fastest Growing Companies in Canada on three occasions and was a recipient of the Athabasca University Rising Star Award. Reece has done business in over 34 countries including leading businesses in Europe.

Reece founded RWT Growth in 2014 as he wanted to focus more on helping organizations, leaders and entrepreneurs achieve their goals. He is passionate about growing companies, raising capital, executing deals and developing others. With his hard-earned experience, Reece advises his clients on challenges he has experienced himself. Through his own success and adversity, Reece takes a very honest and unique approach to each of the challenges his clients face; there are a few bad businesses but many bad strategies. Reece works with his clients to ensure their goals are his goals.

Reece is a Chartered Professional Accountant, holds an MBA from Athabasca University and has completed extensive executive education from MIT. He sits on various for profit and non-profit boards.




Shaun began his career in the automotive industry with an eagerness to learn. He had the opportunity to lead many high-level initiatives and projects, which led to experiences in growing a company, leading a team and reporting to stakeholders. He has since worked in the construction industry, property management,  marketing and public service. He attained his bachelor’s in organizational management while working full-time and is preparing to begin his Chartered Professional Accountant designation.

Shaun believes that in all endeavors it is important to work morally and ethically. He is an avid reader of books, business articles and of technology.


deepak jassal - Partner

Deepak has over 15 years of investment banking experience. He was a senior director at HSBC Investment Bank where he advised large global clients on M&A, his specific field of interest in Financial Institution Clients. His worked covered:

  • Advising on M&A transactions globally

  • Advising on Balance sheet management (both equity and debt)

  • Business Restructurings

His experience allows him to identify, analyse and execute commercial opportunities for some of the largest companies in the world.




Kristal has over a decade of successful bookkeeping experience with local and international businesses in various stages of growth. Her background includes work in the construction, service, online retail, and product distribution industries. She has an edge for getting businesses caught-up and back on track while streamlining their internal accounting processes. Her goal is to help business owners focus on what is important to them, both inside and outside of their business, by freeing up their time and providing the right financial information to achieve their business objectives.

ken Dufault, MBA, CPHR - PARTNER

Ken is a well-rounded Senior Leader with over 25 years of strategic planning, facilitating, coaching, leading and mentoring human performance in the private and public business and service sectors.

Over the past decade Ken has facilitated learning for hundreds of professionals in the areas of: Performance Management, Leadership Excellence, Change Management, Sales Force Optimization and High Performance Selling Skills.

Ken is passionate about business with a keen focus on Strategy Execution and alignment of Human Performance. As a Certified Leadership Coach he assist leaders in optimizing human performance within their teams. He facilitates monthly sessions for emerging leaders in the area of Leadership Development. Ken has played instrumental roles in developing and executing on the Balanced Scorecard. He has presented on local, national and international stages for audiences of various sizes on topics ranging from Sales Force Optimization, Relationship Management and Strategy Execution. 

Ken has led businesses in the retail sector as a National Retail Manager of a Global Medical Device Company. He further honed his program development and training through serving as a contracted Program facilitator and lecturer with Manitoba Health and finally as a Senior Training Manager responsible for the America’s with a medical device company. In his role as National Sales Manager Ken was instrumental in transitioning a Canadian wide business reorganization which transformed the performance of the business.

In Ken’s most recent role as Vice President and General Manager he has been responsible for the transformation of a Manitoba based medical distribution business by focusing on: Strategy Development & Execution, Human Performance and Talent Management / Leadership Development.

Ken has instructed at the University of Winnipeg, University of Manitoba and Red River Community College. He has presented to many professional health groups including Physician and Nursing Associations. Ken has spoken internationally on the topic of Strategy Execution.

Ken is a proud member of the University Of Manitoba Asper School of Business Associates, the Institute of Corporate Directors and the Manitoba Chamber of Commerce. He also sits as a Director  on the following Boards: Intraline Medical Aesthetics, Junior Achievement Manitoba, and Safety Services Manitoba.  He is also a current mentor for Futurpreneur and an Executive Mentor for the Asper School of Business MBA program.
